We created supplementary curriculum for Introduction to Proof courses including a set of Rich Proof Texts with Mathematician Author Stories and a Unit on Sets and Logic. The goal is to help students engage with reading mathematical proofs in meaningful ways.
We created a series of three tasks that can be implemented in Abstract Algebra courses to help students in their understanding of the course material and foster collaboration among students as they engage in meaningful ways with key ideas and proofs.
